I have always been interested in travel and photography, but it didn’t become my passion until 2012 when I attended a travel writing seminar in San Francisco. I took an additional one-day course on travel photography and my life hasn’t been the same since.
I have traveled to Istanbul, Thailand(twice), Hong Kong, Mexico, France, Peru, Iceland, Tibet, Tanzania (3 times), and throughout the United States with camera in hand searching for the next great image. I have read countless articles, taken numerous courses from experts like Piper Mackay and Bryan Peterson, and captured over 500,000 images to expand my knowledge base and improve my craft.
The images you see here are a result of that effort and will be constantly updated to reflect my latest adventure. It is certainly wonderful to see the world through the lens and it is my hope that you can travel with me through these images to share the joy I feel every time I release the shutter.
You don’t take a photograph,
you make it.
